GOT TO GET BACK UP

Sometimes in life we fall so bad
We don't know of we will be able to stand
Or if someone will be there
To lend us a helping hand

But for many that hand is there
Showing that atleast someone cares
Helping you up to your feet
Showing you that life isn't fair

But many have to stand on their own
And dust off their fears
It may take all the strength we have
But we need to fight back our tears

When something bad happens
Forgive and forget they say
But they don't know about the scars
And what we fear each and every day

To forgive is okay, but to forget not so
Because what goes around comes around
So when you get back on your feet
Remember who pulled you to the ground

Because that person may have a pang of guilt
And think back to that day
When they pulled you down and hurt you
And treated you in an unfair way

INSIDE THE PAGES OF MY BOOK

I sat with pen in hand
The paper a clean white
I don't physically hurt people
I let my words fight

It may seem sort of weird
If I say paper knows me best
But it just let's the thought flow
I'm like a welcome guest

Some people say that
Only words make you bleed
But it's the moment you write
That makes you feel like a bird just freed

It's a peaceful process, writing
It holds parts of me together
And inside the pages of this book
I will live on forever

It may seem like a stupid idea
To leave yourself behind in a book
But it's the most beautiful thing
Sometimes you just need to take a look

NATURES CAUSE

I was sitting outside on a bench
There were a few drops of rain
Cleansing the ground
Washing away the pain

I saw the clouds moving by
The sun trying to be seen
Everything was so peaceful
I thought I was in a dream

The wind brushed my face
Like it was calling me to play
And to show their happiness
The trees would slowly sway

I sat there for a long long time
Transferred to a world so far
And the last thing I saw
Was the sky full of stars

And the sun gave way to the moon
And the clouds were at rest
This is what I was waiting for
Nature at it's best

That harmony is now disrupted
And be it night or day
Those clouds aren't white anymore
They've become a dull gray

And the trees have lost
Many of their kind
And the breeze doesn't call me to play
Because I'm too hard to find

Sometimes I go outside
Hoping for that peaceful pause
Where nature takes you away
Not for a specific cause

But just to show you her beauty
A one that's lost and cannot be found
It's not in the sky, not under the sea
And it's definitely not underground

It vanished with what we brought
The skyscrapers and the endless concrete
Things could have been different
Had we made the two ends meet

But instead we showed our qualities
Jealousy, greed and hate
And now we can't get it back
We have reached our own fate

But there was a time
When clouds would gently run
And the breeze would come out to play
But now that time is done

A HELPING HAND

We have all got that one person who put us down, sometimes so low that we couldn't get back up. But just remember this one thing...people only have to bring you down if they are lower than you. Never ever just stay down at that level ok?
This poem was inspired by a friend. Sometimes the person who brings you down is a person that could be the closest to you. If you see anyone go through this always give them... Helping hand

The time has come
The end of the road
Trying to forget the past
The baggage we unload

Those who were there
To lend us a hand
Have now just drifted away
Like writing in the sand

Washed away can't be retrieved
But not a drop of water shed
Because for a lot of time she was ready
And when the moment came she fled

Not aware of the broken heart
Not aware of the tears that were cried
She left someone behind as her baggage
And the best part of that person died

They came so long together
I thought they would go far
But instead she turned and ran away
Leaving behind the biggest scar

She was left there in her own
Till I came and carried her on
And as time slowly went by
Soon the scar was gone

Because when someone cares for you
Just acknowledge that they tried
And when they are put down
Pick them up and lend them a ride

THE GUARDIAN ANGEL

The guardian angel

There came a day she fell
She fell and hit the ground
Her halo, wings and feathers
Not a thing to be found

She was a fallen angel
Fallen from above
She was here on a mission
To spread joy and love

But why had she fallen?
Not because she had done wrong
But because she had to banish that hate
That has been here for too long

She was a young one
A child’s innocence in her eyes
A voice that spoke nothing but the truth
As true as the tears she cries

A mission so big and impossible
Was a bit too much for this young one
But she was determined to face the challenge
And undo the wrongs that had been done

She put in all her might
And grew old with time
Succeeding in spreading peace
And fighting against crime

She healed those who were wounded
And cured others from grief
And the world was at a peaceful pause
But for a moment so brief

Her time had come to go
She left knowing it a better place
She was carried of with the wind in her wings
With the same calmness beauty and grace

But never did she return to her heavenly source
Never did she have a goodbye to say
She drifted off leaving everything behind
And then just faded away

She was carried off to a place
A special place we call paradise
Made for those who cared and loved
And gave up all they could sacrifice

She woke up with a start
On a nice white fluffy cloud
And to see more white around her
And towards her a head bowed

“Where am I?” she asked
“And when did I come here?”
“Am I in the same place?”
“Am I farther or am I near?”

“No dear, you’re in heaven”
Replied a voice so sweet
“You are here for some important work”
“There are some people you need to meet”

She led her through a cloudy hall
To a big golden gate
“You may pass after I leave”
“Beyond this lies your fate”

She walked in very curious
But held her head up high
She was nervous like she’s never been
Her stomach full of butterflies

“Hello is anybody here?”
Her voice echoed in the empty hall
Clouds around her on every side
She suddenly felt very small

Out of nowhere came a beautiful being
Whose voice was the sweetest sound
Her wings were pure white and shimmering
A guardian angel who was crowned

“Hello young one I am a guardian angel
And I have a special job for you
I have been doing it for centuries
And I assure you it’s not easy to do”

“I want you to take this
And wear it with all your pride
Be righteous and courageous
And be the light that guides”

She took off her crown
And placed it on her head
The most royal crown you can find
With gems – blue, green and red

“Now you’re the guardian angel
Spread you’re love and care to all
Be kind and generous
And against the wrong stand strong and tall”

And she wore the crown with pride
Fighting for what’s right
Protecting love, abolishing evil
With all her effort and might

She stood tall like a queen
With all the world’s righteousness and grace
People called her the white beauty
And all she did was make this world, a better place

THE ONES THAT HURT

Many of us have been hurt in life. Sometimes the other person doesn't care, sometimes the other person does care. But whatever happens always stand up for yourself. Fight for yourself, after all, you are your own best support.  Here's a poem dedicated to all those who have been through this pain

THE ONES THAT HURT

I thought I was invincible
I thought I was strong
But many people many times
Have proved my thoughts wrong

As I sat in crouched in the corner
In my room no light
In the mirror the reflection
Only brought on fright

I didn't see myself as a whole
I couldn't even see my heart
All I could see was a saddened soul
Who was torn and ripped apart

My heart I would give away
Never returned as a whole
Taken away or replace what was not
It slowly affected my soul

Used and thrown away
By people many a kind
And I just can't give away more
My scattered pieces hard to find

What I do is share my love
Let people inside my head
Never had I ever thought
That this would leave me dead

I'm found when I'm needed
And other times I can't be seen
For some I'm just a nobody
Till I provide a shoulder to lean

I cried to my soul
I complained to my aching heart
Searched for the people who once loved me
But I only seem to fall apart

Well...you don't need to choose me
You don't need to know me
Just know that I won't be there
Of my presence you're free

I am human and I hurt
And when I fall down I bleed
But now I'm not complete at all
Only because of some peoples greed

THE STRONGEST LOVE

You guys may not know that I write A LOT of poetry and I'd love to share them with you! So I will keep posting the poems as I write it. This one is about a girl who's lost in this race we call life. Until she sees the world through someone else's eyes, someone who loves her and doesn't want to see her so lost and hurt.

THE STRONGEST LOVE

A tragedy, a bad tragedy had struck
Leaving her sad and stuck
All alone to wipe her own tears
In the dark with her lingering fears

Made a puddle....from her own eyes
As she sits there and cries
Only her shadow as her friend
To her sadness she saw no end

And she wept and wept all night long
Humming the most touching song
And those who passed couldn't help but feel
Her own sadness as theirs very real

Until he came and held her close
In her hand he placed a rose
A symbol of their love so strong
A sign that it would last long

He held her close he held her tight
Because her being sad was his worst sight
And they got by together by standing tough
Even though the path was thorny and rough

Because they never left each other's side
Comforted when the other cried
And love was all they had to show
To make each other's happiness glow
