Yes this is my drawing !! And a poem to go with it so enjoy!!
There was a time when I'd see you,
In a different place...I'd say,
In your natural habitat, and now
It hurts to see you this way.
I'd come there just to spot you,
I'd pray that you come out that day,
And now I just pray that you live,
And that you're not taken away.
You are a beautiful beast.
Your stripes catch my eye.
Your pride a source of inspiration,
It would hurt to see your spirit die.
People say the lion is the king of the jungle,
But what about this beauty...the tiger?
Is it just one of those that we kill...
To use its teeth and fur?
It's our national animal.
It's a sense of pride.
But now we can't spot them anymore.
Like they've gone to hide.
I used to see you among grasses green,
But now I see you in a cage.
The tamed beast they call you...
And it fills me with rage.
But later it will become worse,
You'll make a pretty picture in a book,
Your habitat... In the library,
Where people can only look.
And those who had spotted you before,
Will live to tell your sorry story,
And only then will you live up to your name,
And become that beast of glory.
So I want to ask you...
Do you have to die to live that life?
Do you have to give up everything,
And surrender to the knife?
I hope not, at least in your case.
I hope to walk on your sacred ground.
The one on which you make your mark,
As one of the most glorious beasts found.

Amazing poem!!! Suits the incredible drawing!!!
