LA EN FLORAISON RIBBON

And the day began, With our glory on stage
A new chapter, The perfect first page
And while the joy inside could be seen on our face
We hoped to win this race
We slowly counted down the hours
The time till we lit that quadrangle on fire
We would succeed, we would inspire
And finally, the time came, People all around
It was time to conquer our ground
It started off with the dance of the wind
Graceful movements and twirling skirts
Because, of course, they are titanium.
Then came the Chinese ribbon dance
With strength and beauty
They let their ribbons flow free
Mastering an art
They performed with all their heart
And then came our dear panda
Meimei is her name
And gosh does she have all the fame!
And the crowd cheered on
Then came the story of the girl with aids
Is anybody out there?
A victim of the hate from society,
She seeks justice, she wants to be free
And so we accept her, danced with her
With our ribbons we tied many a hand
Helping each other stand
Our very own cancer survivor inspiring all
She definitely conquered her fall!
And at last! The final dance!
The energy, the beauty, the fun!
We cried when it was done
But all everyone else said was "woah"
But then again, that's just PPES-O
