When time moves on
So do you
And all the things that made you smile
And all the things that made you laugh
They all just seem to fade away
It's just like, on that one day
When you open your memory book
And you try to take a look
It's all incomplete
It's like we each have an ink pen to write with
That fades away after some time
It's like the pages are meant to be filled
But you don't get to choose what stays
You don't get to choose those days
You don't get to choose if it's happy or sad
Whether you were anxious or mad
It all just disappears
Along with those silent tears
Along with those lost fears
It all vanishes into thin air
And no matter if we think it's fair
Life really doesn't care
For time has moved on
And so should we.
So do you
And all the things that made you smile
And all the things that made you laugh
They all just seem to fade away
It's just like, on that one day
When you open your memory book
And you try to take a look
